The mayor and his supporters bent proper processes to push the creation of an Orem-only school district with Prop 2. Despite their efforts, 72 % of  voters rejected the proposal.

These leaders are only respectful of ideas or perspectives which match their own. They openly ridicule or belittle those who hold differing views. This has extended to "stacking" city boards and commissions and firing employees who did not conform.

Isolate Orem

Orem has been absent. We need to be at the table with neighboring cities, UDOT planning meetings, etc. Regular meetings with Alpine School District and other partners have been cancelled for years. 

Fix Orem's trajectory

Orem's economic position and attractiveness to new business has slipped significantly. Without a strong vision and a willingness to work on challenging issues, Orem will continue to decline.
