As a longtime resident of Orem, I’m running for City Council to ensure our community thrives—not just today, but for generations to come. I believe in preserving Orem’s unique character while embracing thoughtful progress, supporting families, strengthening local opportunities and investing in programs that strengthen small businesses. I have spent the last 27 years as a math teacher. This experience has taught me that real solutions begin with listening. I am committed to creating space for every resident to have a voice in the decisions that shape their neighborhoods, and ensuring that city government is responsive and reflective of its citizens. I will be a strong voice for civility, respect, and collaboration in city governance. I believe in supporting community spaces, local events, and cultural initiatives that bring neighbors together and foster a sense of belonging. I am committed to promoting affordable and responsible housing that is both sustainable AND aligns with the values of our community. We need a city council with a forward-thinking approach in order to strengthen the city we will pass on to future generations. My commitment is to listen, lead with integrity, and work for a city that reflects the values we share.
